Jim Hustwit - Guitar Teacher

My name is Jim, I’m 32 and have been playing guitar for 18 years. If you want to learn something it's easier and quicker if it's enjoyable. I always tailor my teaching approach to you. You learn what you want - whether that's musical theory, playing your favourite songs or to be in a band - and at a speed that suits you.

I’m based in North London (Hornsey/Crouch End) but am prepared to travel to areas including Muswell Hill, Highgate, Hampstead, Highbury and Islington, Finsbury Park and beyond. Wherever you are based, please get in touch and I’d be delighted to discuss your requirements. I can also help with songwriting, performance and recording.

Children

As a parent it is important to feel comfortable with any potential teacher. If you are looking for a guitar teacher for your child I am happy to travel to meet you and the child, free of charge, before you commit to any lessons.
